This game is realistic and has a nice feel to it and all, but critically speaking...the control and trick system flat out sucks. Like, I learned about this game on Instagram after communicating with some professional snowboards in comparison to SNOW. As a result, I purchased the game thinking it would have a realistic factor like snow; but more fluid to the game play dealing with tricks such as: spins, jibbing; flipping, and grabbing - TO WHICH IT DOES! However, in order to perform certain tricks, you simultaneously have to use (2) joysticks on a controller; to perform everything. Want to throw a nice backside cork 360? Guess what? Right before the jump you have to flick down (on the left joystick) and then flick right (on the right joystick) at the right time...TO MAXIMIZE SPIN AND TWEAK ROTATION. Mind you! If you want to throw a nice Indy or Stale Fish into your rotation, guess what? You have to incorporate some more complicated joystick trickery - which makes zero sense IMHO. That being said, if you want to have fun snowboarding with somewhat of an okay-realistic gaming experience, then play SNOW - as apparently the game is developing better and better after each patch release. Like don't get me wrong! This game feels great! But the complicated joystick incorporation forces me to tell you TO NOT BUY. P.S. Sorry Mark Carter, Zak Hale, and Frank April...but this games mechanics is f****ed bro lol.. Forget about SNOW, forget about Mark McMorris Infinite Air, THIS GAME is the absolute best snowboard simulation that ever came out lol. It has a similar feel that SKATE series, the physics and gravity is so realistic its insane! well worth the 15 bucks.. Very fun game. If you use a keyboard, like me, the difficulty is greatly increased. The physics are amazing, and reflect some real snowboarding. (Preloading take off, set up turns into jump for spins, rails) Carving in this game is so much fun! Reccomended for sure, but needs some work with keyboard controls.. This game is really nice. Especially if you've been shredding irl. It captures the same physics and feeling as if you were in the slope yourself. Once you've learned the controls, every trick you land is super rewarding. Just like in real life.It's a little glitchy here and there, and it's not very much content at the moment. But that's understandable since it's only a single(!!) guy who has been developing this by himself. I have a feeling that this game is only getting better.Well worth the money :). I find this game challenging but fun.The hardest part is timing and getting spins and flips down.I love the mechanics around controlling the boarder and the board with both joysticks.It provides an amazing sense of control.The game is awesome!While not as easy as some snowboard games, when you land a trick it feels worthwhile rather than something that grows stale after a while.. Wow. This is the best Snowboarding game out right now. I've tried Steep, Infinite Air, SNOW, Shaun White Snowboarding, SSX, Amped. This one definitely gives you the fun SSX gave you with the realism share in Steep and SNOW. The animations match those of a AAA studio like Ubisoft w/ Steep. The physics are rivialed by none. As a park rider in real life, many little tricks translate over from real life to the game such as set-up carves for jumps and jumping off your toes/heels. The butters in this game allow you to try tricks like Marcus Kleveland doing crazy rotations off the knuckles. Lastly, the developer has been super active in the community adding multiplayer hangouts in less than a week for us to test.This game is definitely worth every penny, all 1,500 of em.. YOU JUST HOLD DOWN JUMP AND TURN HUH? F NO!!! NOOOO!!!!!! NO way does!!!! This game is actually a piece of trash to you. Since your character is never going to learn, and you are just going to grow bad finger muscles. I play it with the Xbox One Controller, and there's no point to this game. I can go and figure out my guy and do all the tricks, but there's no point to doing that. I hope that whomever programmed this game goes to jail or pays a fine for that. I snowboard in real life and that is not how it goes. Those controls only work the first time, but it gets dumb and tiring. You push left and fall over, and when I board I push left and it goes. What makes you think I'd give you my money to show me little boy♥♥♥♥♥moves. I did all the math and physics one does, and there's no camera or use to this game. I am going to use my power to dispute charge. I hope you go to jail because snowboarding...DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY. Instead you change through a stance, and in this its....launch man.
